Ice Rink

Ice Rink is open for Roller Skating Oct. 29-spring 2026. 

Norwood’s Rink is located in the Pig Palace just east of the arena, and made possible by a partnership with the San Miguel County Fairgrounds.

Update Jan. 7, 2026 – Warm temperatures and water supply issues have delayed winter ice. Forecasts indicate we will not have an ice season this year. The rink remains available for Roller Skating until 9pm daily.

Ice/Roller Rink Rules:

  • All hours are Open Skate (sunrise-9pm) unless there is an event scheduled. 
  • Pick up Hockey is welcome, but only when it doesn’t interfer with other skaters.
  • Scheduled events are posted on the website Calendar: Calendar
  • All participants are required to sign the waiver and release of liability form:

More about Rink Etiquette

Please: No skating if temperatures are above freezing or there is water on the ice.

Ice Season only: Day-use loaner ice skates are available at the rink, $2/day. Cash/honor system.
